In our middle school level video game coding workshop students will learn basic and advanced computer science concepts and immediately apply what they have learned in games they create. Coding video games applies all of the abstract math that students have been learning for years in the classroom and brings it to life! The classes run weekly all school year and students are encouraged to code with us all year. Students will keep track of their lessons and notes that will act a a reference and portfolio of their work. All games will be available online, Students will need a free Makecode.com account.
